Wensleydale Railway Diesel Gala 24/05/25

Started the day off with metro from SoL , 60 026 was just going through before it. Then did 156 444 thornaby. We.were held up at billingham suw to points failure for about 40 minutes. 

Thankfully made connection at thornaby by 2 minutes, changed at eaglescliffe onto the GC to northallerton.  

Then got 73 bus to Leeming bar for the railway,  mainly doing scruton shuttles.

Then did bus 73 back to northallerton station to watch SAFC game at station hotel.

Thankfully SAFC won 2-1 , cracking game, then only just missed the delayed GC back to Sunderland by 1 minute, so had to do a delayed TPE to boro, after missing a silly minus connection at thornaby haha. 

Then a cheeky double vodka and coke in pub next to boro station then 18.15 train back to Sunderland.  Great day out all round  :)
