Consett Blackfyne 5 v Sunderland West End reserves 2 - Consett leisure centre 4G - ground 521 - 15/11/25

A nice winner azuma to Durham after a dud metro from sol.  Then onto the X15 up to consett.  After some required shopping and walkabout,  I got to the leisure centre to see a game in progress.  If I'd known about the first game I'd of got there earlier.  After the end if that game it wasnt long before the Blackfyne game started 

I watched what I could,  I exited for a call of nature,  then came back to watch more from the top of steps. Unfortunately I got the 47 back to metrocentre after the X45 disappeared!  It was a total arse and back knacking hour ride, never to be done again!  Think i may stay in tomorrow.  

Thankfully the X66 back to Gateshead was quick and had a winner 555 back to the sol , which was nice :) 

wrekenton blue star 2 v ferryhill town youth 6 - apok building services Stadium - ground 519 - 08/11/25

As I'm nearing completion of the Wearside League,  it's now time to start on the northern alliance league.  So an easy one to start off with , did the metro to Gateshead for a 56 up the bank to wrekenton.  

The 28 stops next to ground but is only hourly.  Its a steep bank up to the shops , so made sure i got the 28 from the ground back to Gateshead metro. 

The home team took the lead early on but twas the visitors who progressed in this cup tie. 

Wearside League double 25/ 10/25

Started by doing metro from sol to Park Lane for the X6 to Peterlee. After a bog break,  I walked to the ground. 

Peterlee and Horden cwfc 5 v Chester-Le-Street United  2 - The Pavillion -  ground 516 - 25/10/25 

a blustery day , but the action goals flowed , 

Then did X6 back to Park Lane for a short dodge to ashbrooke for the 2nd game of the day.  I actually felt like going home but instead made the effort for another game. 

Sunderland Albion 4 v  south moor afc reserves 0 - The Limes  -  ground 517  -  25/10/25 

Some well taken goals went towards a fine win for the Albion.

I could barely walk by time I got home, but 2 more Wearside league grounds ticked off, is a good days work. :) 

Deerness Valley fc 3 v middlestone moor 3 (Deerness won 4-2 on pens) - esh winning cricket club - ground 515 - 18/10/25

Had azuma down to Durham,  then 43 to esh winning.  

A cracking game,  goals galore and Deerness through to the next round.  Their reserves also got through on pens in their cup tie. Had a winner azuma on way back, which was nice.

Unfortunately my planned Sunday game was being played at a ground I'd already done,  so went shopping instead. 

Consett Blackfyne 5 v Durham fc corinthians development 1 - consett cricket club - ground 514 - 11/10/25

Did a wedged 156 to metrocentre for X45 up the bank to the ground . I was here last month but game was played elsewhere.  I've since found out that footy clubs that share with a cricket club,  footy is played elsewhere, at thus level anyway.

pick of the goals for me was a peach of a curling free kick by the visitors in the 1st half. Came home the quicker way, X45 back down the bank to metrocentre for X66 to Gateshead,  a bit of shopping in boots and Tesco then metro home 

Hilda Park fc 0 v Washington athletic fc 3 - Roseberry Playing Fields - ground 508 - 13/09/25

The day started off sunny and warm,  done dud.555 to Gateshead for the X21 to CLS where i wandered around looking in a few shops to.fill in time before doing the 8 to the ground,  

As kick off arrived so did the bad weather! Bloody freezing,  windy and rainy.  My aches and pains also got worse, despite co codomal taken pre match. I stayed as long as I could to the point I could barely stand. At least I saw the 1st athletic goal before my departure. 

I hobbled very slowly to the bus stop and got the 78 straight through to Sunderland.  Oddly enough it was sunny and warm again when I got off the bus, then metro home. 

I wasn't well enough to go out on the Sunday and rarely got out the rest of the week. 

Saturday 20th , had the pleasure of ear irrigation at a local walk in centre.  The only date available at my local surgery was for the morning I go to London!  

I haven't felt very well most of this week, hopefully this weekend away will help my self esteem and also help me feel better overall  . 

Spennymoor Town youth 1 v Peterlee and Horden cwfc 0 - Whitworth Park Academy - ground 506 - 23/08/25

After a metro and a bus or 2 , I arrived in Spennymoor to tick off another cricket and footy ground 

They basically back onto each other,  but its a long way round when the school is closed !  Spennymoor was cricket ground 74, not much room to walk around unfortunately. 

Spennymoor youths played up tudhoe last time i saw them, now it sems they've found a base here , which also has grass pitches.  

Shattered I got 2 buses and a metro home 

Billingham United 3 v south moor afc reserves 5 - bede sixth form college - ground 505 - 16/08/25

Got the train down to billingham,  then had a nice walk up to the ground via Tesco for refreshments for the train back home. 

I'd already done the 3G cage here , so I've now ticked the grass pitch for a game aswell. 

An entertaining game which was 1-1 after 2 minutes!  South moor took the lead again with a well taken goal half way through the first half, then made it 3-1 just before HT. The goals flowed in the 2nd half too.

Wynyard village v fc Hartlepool reserves were playing on the 3G today, I watched some of that game at the same time.
