Scotland 4in8 rover 17/07/26 - 20/07/26

Started on the 07.31 Sunderland to Carlisle,  for the slightly delayed 09.50 Lumo to Sterling. We'll that was the plan, due to an electrics farce , it was terminated at Motherwell.  So had to do a 385 to Edinburgh then a hst up to Inverness. 

Arrived late and too shattered to have anything to eat. 

18/07/26 

Day 2 of rover.   Started the day on a winner 158 to Aberdeen 

Mcds was up a load of steep steps and didn't have time to find the long way round.  So headed back to the station for the same unit to Inverurie 

Where I ticked spoons 282 , Gordon highlander 

After a filling breakfast and pint,  went ba j to the station for the train to elgin,  which was a winner 

Then up to town to tick spoons 283 , muckle cross 

Then off to the footy 

Elgin City 0 v Kilmarnock 1  - Borough Briggs - ground 527 

After I arrived at the ground,  I waa surprised to find out the clubhouse let away fans in , so a pint was in order. 

Supper pint then made way into ground 

Killie were down to 10 men just before HT but thankfully grabbed a last minute winner ! It was a hard slog back down to the station 

But thankfully made the 17.39 back to Inverness then back to hotel for the night 

19/07 /26

Day 3 of rover. 

After yesterday's long day with too much walking, an easy day was required! After required shopping and a mcds breakfast,  caught the 10.59 to Kyle 

After s short wander around the bay , I found the norwest bar on the main street 

Where I had a refreshing pint of aspall cider 

Then back to station for the 15.09 back up to Inverness 

20/07 /26  - day 4 of rover 

Started on 9.42 to Edinburgh , a nice winner 170 

Then had a nive refreshing pint in spoons 

Then canny knackered,  i got the 14.30 azuma back to ncl and train to sunnyland 

Another very enjoyable rover and weekend away. Next trip away still in the planning stages. :) 

brora rangers 0 v Kilmarnock 2 - Dudgeon Park - Ground 501 - 12/07/25

Started off on the Friday afternoon with a metro from SoL to central station , where I

got a winner azuma 800 104 up to Inverness,  arriving about 25 minutes late. 

Found way to hotel avoiding 2 big steep lot of stairs! 

Saturday! 

After a little wander around town, co codomal was got at boots,  I made way to the station for the 10.41 to Brora,  which was a winner 158 ! 

A winner cider was also ticked on the train ! 

Arrived at Brora only a few minutes late , there was a  big cheer from the Killie fans after the guard announced arriving at Brora haha ! 

Then went in Sutherland Inn for more pre match refreshments! 

Then was a short walk to the ground.  

A goal in each half secured the win. After the game, popped into co-op for more refreshing ciders for the train journeys ahead. One last pint in the southerland inn and off to the station for the sightly delayed train back to Inverness. 

Sunday! 

After a nice breakfast at mcds , went for the 9.40 train home :)
