Richmond Mavericks 6 v Gateshead leam rangers reserves 3 - The Dave Clark Arena - Ground 482 - 01/08/25

After doing metro from SoL , I ticked 800107 to darlo, then X26 to Richmond,  where a visit to Lidl produced a winner cider for the train home.  Made way to the ground for the 12.30 k.o. in the Wearside League game.

Mavericks trailed 2-1 at HT after getting back into the gane with a penalty.  Mavericks rallied in 2nd half, racing into a 4-2 lead, the 4th a class header !  FT 6-3 

Richmond Town Academy 2   v Hawes United 3  -  Richmond Town Academy pitches  - ground 483 -  01 /02/25 

I then made my way down to the  Richmond Town Academy pitches for their game v Hawes United in the Wensleydale League.  The visitors scored a better to open the scoring, was a goal that deserved the win on its own ! 

Got the X26 back to darlo and ticked 802 219 back up to central station for metro back to the sol.  

New Durham AFC 0 v Richmond Mavericks 2 - Downhill Hub - ground 481 - 25/01/25

Since the BUFC game,  I've mainly rested due to the rubbish weather & not feeling generally well.  A local trip to a Wearside League game wasn't a bad way to start my  2025 hopping!

Caught the 4 from my bus stop, which is next to the Stadium of Light. Bus journey to the ground took about 18 minutes with a 10 minute hobble to the ground.  

 A goal in each half gave Mavericks the win on a very cold but sunny day !  Hopefully I'll get to Richmond next Saturday! 

Sunderland Lasses reserves were also in action at the venue !
