its my mission in october to complete the DACL, KGV being 1 of my last 3 required grounds in this league, the bonus of a beerfest post-match was a welcome bonus!!
New Westlea have had it hard in their first season in this league, deafeats usually in double figures! I was expecting the same, but to give credit to them, their heads didn't go down & battled to the end. Redcar were 4-0 up at HT including a pen. Redcar missed a pen in the 2nd half, hitting the woodwood on countless occasions, the keeper also played his part pulling off some decent saves!
after the match I headed back into the City Centre on the 20, met my mate in spoons, then walked down to the beerfest. Only managed to tick off 4 winner Ciders, as the others ran out due to the fest starting on the thursday!
after we supped the last of the tokens, we went back to spoons for a few pints then I got the 20.55 train back home :)
season 2015/16 - 15 new grounds, 67 goals :)
