Durham City FC Reserves 4 v Billingham FC 1 - 27/ 08/31 - ground 417 - Belmont Community School

this was the 3rd ground I've seen DCR play at home this calender year, not that I'm complaining ! (I'd be happy to do as many County Durham grounds as possible with them & any other teams in the league) . I arranged to to travel up with the Billingham lads for this one, as their coach doesn't live too far from me. I made the 10 min walk or so up to the garage, met up with John, then made our way to Kings, pickin up another enrote, for a head count etc, then it was off to Belmont.
arrived at the ground about 1, so I had a butty & some juice whilst watching the local archery club practise their own shooting!
the match kicked off onn time at 2, the away team had the best of early exchanges & chances, but it was the home team that struck first. as the game went on, Durham's confience grew. a quality strike from "Drogba" for the 3rd the pick of the goals. a late consolation header pulled 1 back for Billingham, but it was a bad day at the office for them. left the ground about 3.55, dropped players off enroute, arrived back at garage about 4.35,  then I made the short walk home.

Durham City FC Reserves 1 v Killingworth YPC 0 - 23/01/16 - ground #402 - Durham University CC / Racecourse Ground

FINALLY !!! after waterlogged pitches & venue changes, I got this ground in ! There are 2 main footy pitches in this old Cricket ground, 1 in front of the Pavillion & 1 up the bank behind it. DCFC are hiring it off the Uni, who happened to be using the main pitch next to the Pavillion, so up the bank it was. It kept the subs & coaches busy / fit chasing down the bank for balls that had been kicked outta touch.
The game was a tough, scrappy battle, which a depleted Durham Reserves team edged thanks to a well taken goal just before HT.
Killy ypc is now my last required DACL league ground, that maybe ticked off on feb 6th, depending on Crook & District league fixtures for that day, or of the course the weather !!

Durham City FC Reserves 10 v Sunderland Farringdon Detached FC 0 - 19/12/15 - ground #399 - Maiden Castle Sports Centre

Once again, I turned up to find that Durham weren't playing at Uni CC, place was deserted. As the weather hadn't been too bad, I made a couple of phone calls from numbers off NLZ. Turned out the game was being payed at nearby Maiden Castle. I happily made the short walk round as MC was a winner ground too.
The game was mainly 1 sided. Durham were 5-0 up after 30 mins! The scoring continued strait after HT. I had hoped to tick some real ciders off in the city centre, but all the decent pubs that sell it were full of lager swilling revellers, so I decided to give it amiss & get early train home :)
