Birtley United fc 4 v Plains Farm Club fc 4 - High Handenhold Welfare Park - ground 493 - 06/04/25

After being in too much pain to get out yesterday,  I was glad to get out in the Sunday sunshine!  Started off on 08.39 metro from SoL to Gateshead for the 28 bus to footy and back, then metro home. 

it was 1-1 after a few minutes. Plainsy then took the lead with a cracker from outside the box. It was soon 3-1 , birtley keeper tipped a shot from outside the box onto the bar only for a plainsy player to head home the rebound.  After a bit of shouting amongst the birtley players,  they pulled themselves together and got back into the game after a lot of pressure.  The goals continued to flow in the 2nd half. A draw possibly the fairest result.
