Whitburn & Cleadon FC 2 v Hebburn Town U23 3 - 21/09/19 - ground #474 - New Fields

after a busy morning at home, I went to thornaby for the 11.40 to Sunderland, which was 7 late, after arrival at Sunnyland, I only had to wait a couple of mins for metro to Seaburn, followed by a short walk down to sainsburys to tick it off (even tho I'd been in 100's of times when I lived nearby, but wasn't counting them then!) , walked to morrisons for winners for train home, then short bus ride to whitburn & easy 10 min walk to ground. a brilliant end to end game finished the way of the away team. after bus back into city centre, had time for a pint in spoons (no winners on) before train home, which was also late, but no complaints :)

New Hartley Juniors 12 v Horden Community Welfare U18s 2 - 22/09/18 - ground #471 - New Hartley Welfare

I'd been wanting to do this ground for about 2 years, but wanted to do on same day as when SD were at home aswell,as it's only 5 mins away on the bus. This is Horden's first season in this league, so they'll need time to settle. NH are well established in this league & it showed. some well taken goals and 2 penalties in the space of 3 minutes around 37 mins eased them to HT. during the 2nd half I got the X7 down to SD to catch up with that game's first half. I even saw some chances and a goal whilst at the bus stop!

Seaton Delaval afc 3 v Seghill fc 2 (a.e.t) - 22/09/18 - ground #472 - Wheatridge Park

the bus stops next to the ground, where there was a lovely litle moggy wandering about outside :)

Seghill were 2 up at the break but couldn't get through to the next round. I didnt have much energy left by this time, as long bus rides knacker me! so I just took a few pics from the "car park end", and sat down to eat my bait & drink me juice & rest!

Cramlington Town 1 v Blyth Town 4 - 11/11/17 - ground #459 - Sporting Club Of Cramlington

last time I visited this venue, it was a day of persistent rain, and the game had been switched from new fordley to here to use the 3G pitch, which meant another visit was required to tick the grass pitch off. Cram town had at least 1 good chance before blyth took the lead. Cram had suffered a bad season so far & have a dreadful GD in the league. this cup tie was abit closer but blyth went in 2-0 at HT. the visitors added 2 more in 2nd half & a deserved goal from cram inbetween finished off the scoring.
the ground is ideally placed next to the ECML for further viewing pleasure!

Chemfica 4 v Red Row Welfare 0 - 04/11/17 - ground #458 - Cochrane Park Sports Ground

arrived at benfield to watch Duram City U18s 1.30 k.o , only to see an empty playing area (next door to Sam Smiths Park). the bloke on the car park gate didn't have a clue about the U18s team. I later found out than benfield had cancelled the game at 9am due to water logged pitch, with nowt on twitter etc tho. gutted, I walked up the road to tick the chemfica part off of Cochrane park. I did a wander round, takin a few pics the went & sat up at the pavilion (instead of my usual walking up & down the touchline hoping for a decent action pic!) . turned out to be an easy home win. I nipped out abit early to make sure I caught the early X10 back down the A19 & avoid the mags v Bournemouth crowd.
so its another alliance ground ticked off, but I'd rather of did the U18s game & got down to 2 grounds to complete that league.

Willington Quay Saints 5 v Red Row Welfare 3 - 08/04/17 - ground #439 - The Rising Sun Sports Ground

I had a few options to get here from WBC, but they included walking to various bus stops , then a walk after bus. as it was a lovely day, I decided to walk it, which was about the same as the bus options! yet another end to end game, full of incidents & an avalanche of goals ! :)
with no metro stations within easy walking distance, I opted for the 310, 5 mins walk from ground,  back into town, which wasn't too bad.

Northbank Carlisle 0 v Ponteland United 2 - 25/03/17 - ground #436 - Sheepmount Stadium

after my dinner break outside the castle, I made the short walk to the ground. The sun was getting hotter & temperatures were running high in this game, with crunchin tackles in the first 20 mins, as lowly northbank showed the were up for the fight against high 2nd top united, who just edged the game with a goal in each half. then it was a sainsburys tick for train cans & walked to station. I was tempted for a swifty in the pub next door, but that was full & noisy, with it Carlisle v Crewe  crowd & ususal Saturday afternoon drinkers. so I settled for a quiet cold cider in the station buffet before a nice farce free journey home, which included winner TPE 128, which was nice :)

Wallsend Labour Club 2 v Heaton Stannington A 1 - 18/03/17 - ground #434 - High Flatworth

arrived in wallsend about 12.30, made the short walk to spoons, which was a nice one to tick off :)

plan a was wallsend boys club u18s v south shields, but a look at twitter while in spoons I found out that was off. the nearest 1.30 k.o was at Millers Dene (home of walkergate & reserves) , a ground high on my to-do list! I made the 15-20 min walk there, to find out that game was also off! so, next nearest option was wallsend labour club, which was on! It actually turned out to be a canny game. a farce free journey back & finally ticked off the sainsburys next to darlo station (since I've started tickin them).
