Spoons Pubs Visited !!

Pre-match or Post-match, or just a day out, quite alot of people tick off Spoons pubs aswell as sports grounds and I'm one of them !
The main rule I follow, is that an alcoholic drink must be consumed, which I think is very fair due to it being a PUB tick :)
I compiled this list in this order thanks to the excellent page put together by John Adams, Cheers :)

Berwick day out - 05/09/25

After the pleasure of a winner 555 from SoL to central station,  I had a short wait for a dud azuma ro Berwick.  I had an hour or so until the 13.11 X15 to haggerstone castle,  had a nice wander about,  ticking off boots for co codomal,  then had a swift half in the Leaping Salmon,  a dud spoons but next to the bus stop.
X15 took about 15 mins and then a 10 min walk to the spoons 239 - Sir Thomas Haggerstone  :)
I then did the delayed 14.43 X15 to tweedmouth Asda for a bog break and supplies for the journey back,  then a mini bus shuttle back to the station for a dud azuma but a decent day out nonetheless  :)

22/07/2025

Kelty hearts 0 v Kilmarnock 0 (Kelty won 4-3 on pens for an extra point) - new central park - ground 502 - 22/07/25

Started with the usual metro from SoL,  then winner azuma 801 221 up to Edinburgh, for a dud 170 to dunfermline. There I ticked spoons 238 - the guildhall and linen exchange
After a nice required vodka, I made way to hotel to check in. After a well required wash and freshen up , I found the bus station and got the bus to Kelty
Found the one pub in Kelty,  no away fans were allowed in social club due to segregation!
Took pics at the ground before heading to the pub.
After a few pints of magners dark fruits I headed to the away end at the ground.
A game Killie dominated but failed to take their chances. Left a tad early so to catch the 21.21 bus back to Dunfermline
Headed straight back to hotel for an early night .
After a canny night kip and breakfast,  I headed to the station for the 10 01 to Edinburgh,  which was a winner pair of 158s!
A couple of quick pics on the way
Then had a dud azuma back home

Maidenhead united 3 v Boston United 0 - york road Stadium - ground 500 - 05/05/25

Thought I'd get the Maidenhead spoons out the way with first - spoons 237  - the bear  The 10.33 to marlow was cancelled,  as was the 11.33. GWR put on free taxis to marlow, where we met up with 3 coach loads of BUFC fans and more that travelled by train in the donkey.
Thankfully trains were back on the go from marlow , so did the 13.59 back to maidenhead.
Then did the short walk to the ground
the home team led 1-0 at HT and finished off the game in the 2nd half including a clumsy conceded penalty. Thankfully the result didn't matter as BUFC beat the heed last Saturday to secure safety  :)
After the game i made the short train ride by to Slough to spend my last night in hotel before heading home early tomorrow.
Tuesday 6th -  did the Betty line to Paddington , where a quick toilet break was required. Then did Betty line to Farringdon for the Thames link unit to st Pancras and the 11.00 azuma back up north  :)

Sunday 04/05/25

Nicely rested and refreshed,  I was ready to start another day !  I made the short trip down to Windsor & Eton station.  Had a little walkabout and took this pic of a plane over Windsor castle
then ticked spoons 233 - king & castle :)
Then went to Windsor and Eton riverside station for the train to staines.
Where I ticked spoons 234 - the George  :)
It was then off to Bracknell
Unfortunately the spoons pub was closed!
So headed back to the station for train to reading
Then train to Newbury
Where I ticked spoons 235 -  hatchet inn  :)
Then train back to reading
And onto Slough.  I was gonna do a lasses footy game, but need a break, so Sainsbury's,  boots for co codomal and finally tick Slough spoons , 236 - moon and spoon :)
