a day of mad winter weather which included gale force winds, rain, hail, snow & sun!!

only 2 Eskvale & Cleveland League grounds required now, Lealholm & Brotton, which should hopefully  both be done this month :)

Hinderwell FC 1 v Lingdale United 8 - 20/12/14 - Ground #360 = The Croft Ground

after last saturdays weather farce, normal service was resumed. I decided to make the long bus trek to Hinderwell to continue my quest to complete the Eskvale & Cleveland league, of which now ony Dormanstown, Brotton & Lealholm are required :)
it was a close 1st half, Hinderwell equalized from a free kick (pic 1), 2nd half was a different story. The league takes a mini winter break now, til then I plan to do a couple more York League grounds, unless I win the lotto of course :)

Lakes United 3 v Hinderwell FC 4 - 29/11/14 - ground #358 - Corus Sports & Social Centre

as it was a 'skint saturday', my nearest & cheapest ground tick was in Redcar, another Eskvale & Cleveland League ground done. A crackin game, Lakes United conceeded a last minute goal, they deserved a point at least.
Dormanstown, of the same league, play round the corner from this ground. Infact, you can see part of their game through the fence behind the goal in pic 3. I might be there in a few weeks time :)
