I'm shipping up to Boston!

This trip ticks off top spot on my bucket list  :)

Started off on the metro from Sol to central station , then followed a dud azuma to pboro and a dud 170 to Stamford.  Unfortunately it took me half hour to find the spoons  pub, walked passed it loads of times,  directions off locals were rubbish too,, apart from the last lady I asked !  Spons 214 - Stamford post ! 

Whilst waiting for.my pboro train, 37601 stormed through  :) 

The slightly delayed 12.54 back to Peterborough,  was thankfully a winner :) 

Peterborough has 2 spoons, college arms at the top end of town  and the drapers arms near the train station. I finally found my way out of the queesgate centre, and to the pub! Spoons 215 - college arms.

A short walk through town and I arrived at spoons 216 - drapers arms  :) 

a nice walk under the road and I was at the station ,(handy to know for next time)  where I did a winner azuma to Grantham for  a winner 170 , to  Boston!  I was too knackered to conquer Spalding spoons ! 

So, onto Saturday morning!  The planned 9.22 train to skegg was cancelled,  so as I was up and ready to go, I decided to  tick the Boston spoons 217 - Moon under Water  :) 

Then did the 10.22 train to skegg , for spoons 218 - red lion  :) 

After an hour in skegg, I did the 12.15 back to Boston :) 

A winner cider on a winner train! Nice  :) 

Sunday morning is a great No Doubt song, it's also the start of the rest of my time away! Sid the 9 15 off Boston to Sleaford to tick off the 1st spoons of the day   :) 

Spoons 219 - packhorse Inn 

Then did 11.15 train to Bingham to tick that spoons off !  Spoons 220 - Butter Cross  :) 

Then the off to Grantham on the 13.04. I then did some required Hull trains 802s, got a pair up to Donny for a.single one back down to Grantham.  Then did a winner azuma up to Donny for my booked train (which was dud) back up north.  

Back On Track - Part 8

After some shopping in Gainsborough,  we made the short walk to central station, to pick up 150 203 to Barnetby,  also completing the Brigg line :)

We did a tpe service from Barnetby to grimsby,  where I nipped over the road to tick off Spoons 208  - Yarborough Hotel, which is next door to the station! 

Then did 170 514 into cleethorpes. 

Then a short walk to spoons 209  -  coliseum picture house  :) 

Then a tpe service to Donny,  for 170 516 to lincoln.  Then after a farcical feck on to get food in mcds, headed to spoons  210 - Square Sail , which was another feck on to find, but thankfully found a quick way back to the shack to get the hell outta that shithole of a place ! 

Emr (i preferred emt!) 158 back to Donny, for 91110 up to Leeds  :) 

Followed by a tpe 802 back up north :)
