Monkseaton FC 3 v Gosforth Bohemians 0 - 17/09/16 - ground #420 - Churchill Playing Fields

basically, I picked this game due to 2 cricket ground ticks very nearby.  it was explorer ticket time as I ticked off another northern alliance ground (too many still required!). made my way to whitley bay 1st. to tick off the cricket ground there (next to the ice rink), then made the short walk to churchill playing fields, over the road to monkseaton metro station. both monkseaton fc & CC play in this large park.
monkseaton were 1-0 at HT, and finished the game off in the 2nd half. went straight home via metro & buses. looks like more northern alliance grounds to do in coming months (unless I win lotto!!) as I only need 1 ground to complete Durham Alliance League & 2 to complete DCFA U18s league.

Gosforth Bohemians 1 v Wooler 3 - 02/05/15 - ground #377 - Benson Park

with no required Crook & District League grounds on offer, and the fact the mags were away, I headed up north to tick another northern football alliance ground off. The day was made sweeter by my 1st cricket ground tick of the season at Gateshead fell CC v South North CC pre-match. I had hoped to tick the South North CC 2nd XI game off after the footy, but the weather took a very cold & wet turn for the worst, so gave it amiss.
