Sunderland University FC 1 v Hartlepool FC Reserves 4 - 17/10/15 - ground #395 - Southern Areas

left Thornaby on the 11.00 to darlo, which should of connected me with the 11.41 to CLS. but that was cancelled due to crew shortage! so charged my phone up abit in the waiting room, then got the 12,00 to Durham, for a bus to CLS. by the time time I got there, I just missed the 8, which is the only bus that goes anywhere near the ground. next 8 was in 30 mins, so I decided to walk it to the ground in Rickleton, which took about 40 mins, arriving dot on k.o :)
the game was a close one (HT 0-1) til half way through the 2nd half. I shoud've only had 1 more DACL ground to tick off after this 1 (Killingworth YPC), but Whitburn Village FC have decided to change venues, so I still require 2 grounds to complete this league! (for some reason all 4 corner flags had an FC Sparta logo on!)
I walked it back to CLS, got some cans in for the trains home (no winners were on sale), then went for a pint in the Queens Head before the 17.15 back to darlo. I was abit tired after all the walkin, so just got the 18.00 train back to thornaby & went straight home :)

Birtley FC 3 v Hartlepool FC Reserves 8 - 01/11/14 - ground #354 - Birtley Welfare Ground

This was my last required Durham Alliance League ground, and it also completes my 4th North East League, Wearside League / Northern League / Teesside League being the other 3 :)

birtley fc are the 2nd string of birtley st Joesphs (northern football alliance) , Hartlepool FC Reserves 1st team play in the Wearside League.
