Darlington 1883 Reserves 2 v Gateshead Leam Rangers 0 - 25/02/17 - ground #431 - Eastbourne Sports Complex 4G

 

 

For the 2nd Saturday running it was a short train trip to darlo to tick off an artificial pitch. This time, it was the turn of Darlo 1883's reserves new 4G pitch (I ticked this venue off a few years ago to watch Middleton Rangers (when it only had a grass pitch), this was my 13th darlo ground & also recompleted The Wearside League for the 2nd time this season!

After I got off the 13.00 from Thornaby, made the 20 minute walk to the ground, stopping off at the nice B&H Chippy for a corned beef pattie lot along the way, which was nice! abit of a scrappy game, in very windy and cold conditions. afterwards, made haste over to sainsburys on the cider run, getting to the station with 5 mins to spare for the thornaby train & a well deserved strongbow :)
I'm planning to do Darlo 1883 v fcum on Easter Monday, at the new Blackwell meadows ground,  if the bunny is kind to me!
