WELCOME!

Welcome to my blog
In my "match reports" i rarely mention the goalscorers, teamsheets, attendance etc.. .I'm just in this for the fun (most of the time) of the day out :)

I'm a former Sunderland AFC season ticket holder from both Roker Park & the SOL. Back In 2006 I got Sick Of It All (SOIA also happens to be the name of a band i saw supporting DKM in Boston USA & we'll get to Boston thing just now) so decided after the 2005/06 season i decided to pack it in & not go back to the SOL when me season ticket expired ...  but after havin a rare saturday off work i decided to go watch Sunderland RCA v stokesley & actually enjoyed it. so decided that it would be a good idea to start goin to different grounds, whether they'd be non-league or whatever.

so, back to the Boston thing! In March 2006 i made the Pilgrimage to Boston USA to see Dropkick Murphys (DKM). whilst i was there, i saw them on the thurs nite (16th) & twice on the sat (18th). before the 1st sat show i went to watch he ice hockey game, Boston Bruins v carolina hurricanes. Boston won 4-2 ... a month later, i realised that there was a footy team in League 2 called Boston United, who just happened to play in same colours as Boston Bruins!!  well, that was that, i'd found incentive to my new vocation in life! Follow Boston United to grounds i ain't been to before (obv to there own ground once when they won 2-0 v solihull moors) & also go to games involvin my local Sunderland teams, Sunderland RCA & Silksworth. i also have a thing for Kilmarnock coz of kev Kyle playin there (but not anymore, he's at jambo's but I'm not gettin into them haha). even tho he's left, im still gonna continue watchin Killie at required SPL grounds. Killie fans are class & a good laugh. motherwell away was awesome! (despite the stewards doin their best to ruin Killie stayin up party).

That's about it for now, hope you find something of interest!

cheers :)
